Final Fantasy XIV Online

If you're like me, you've been a fan of Final Fantasy for a long ass time. I remember playing FFXI online when it was first released and had some fun with a RDM/BM until about level 55 when I wanted to kill myself from the grind of hunting crabs for hours on end. Regardless, this is 2010, and we're now in an MMO drought the likes of which I've never seen. WOW fucking blows, Warhammer was a disaster, EVE bores me, AOC was a bastard child and still is despite its new Xpac, and every other MMO just isn't worth it. Starcraft II is our only filler for game recreation.
Here is the kicker for what interested me with this compared to the other:

Well, FF XIV is going to alleviate that gap for me until SWTOR. I just recently purchased an eVGA GTX 480 and I'll be damned if I'm not going to try it out on some of the latest/greatest software out there. Judging by the screenshots this game is going to be gorgeous (FFXI was).
Lets just hope it will keep me sane until Star Wars, yea? This game is not being fully endorsed by DDH. I'm sure some will come play, and if you do, I'll see you there.

A message to all Elyos on Zikel who want to play a dominant role in Abyss siege PvP
Are you tired of seeing Asmo zergs comprised of; Order of Shadow and Death is Eternal in the abyss, while the current top Elyos guilds are focused on PvE world bosses and logging on only for premade dreg groups? Then it is time to do something about it!
Darkhand has been very active in coordinating successful siege alliances in the abyss. If you enjoy Sieges and Abyss PvP chances are you have been in one of our raids. Our mission is to recruit those with equal goals to Create, Control, Organize and Maintain a dominant position in the abyss and world PvP.
We are recruiting all classes 40+, you must have a passion for PvP and you must maintain a high attendance rate for our sieges which of course are primetime hours 8-11pm EST. We also understand there are many guilds out there who want to be part of something bigger and more coordinated. Darkhand Reaches Top 20!
That's right!, we have made it to the top 20 guilds in Elyos. With our slow start we are starting to climb up to the top! Currently 19th place we should be top 10 in only a few short weeks.
Keep up the great work guys!
